This cake was carved from an 11X15 cake. Frosted in cream cheese frosting and covered in fondant. Baby pins are made from candy melts drawn on wax paper.
This is my ever-popular Jerry cake (before I brushed the loose chocolate crumbs off of the tiles). It was for a surprise BD party and the wife wanted something of Texas Longhorns since her DH was such a fan. The longhorn is made from orange candy melts with just a few milk chocolate candy melts thrown in to give it that "Texas Dirt" look.
The top of this cake is a FBCT. Started to just make the rifle and green background but decided to do the camo pattern as part of the transfer.
This cake was for an office full of women that were stressed out. Chocolate Fudge cake with chocolate BC frosting and "fake ganache" on top and down sides.
I made 2 of these as a "Thank You" for a nursing home. Yellow BC frosting with white BC accents--WIlton design.
These were made for a baby shower. Light turquoise with white accents. Let me just say again...I hate petit fours!!!!
These were made using the plastic megaphones from Michael's, sticker letters and paw prints (that you can't see in pic). Cookies are iced in royal icing and shrink-wrapped. Each bouquet was suppose to have 3 cookies but I dropped one and it broke. The panther was an edible image.
Just wanted you guys to see what TexasSugar showed us at the Longview DOS today. If I remember correctly, it was a combo of fondant and gumpaste.
Didn't know where to post this but this looks like the appropriate category. This is a practice cake for the DOS we are having in ET. New basketweave pattern on the side and fondant plaque made from Brown Bag Cookie Mold. Dry-brushed with luster dust (wish I had some green to finish it..sigh).

Ok-ya'll...here it is!!! I love sea turtles and we have just gotten back from a beach vacation so what better idea than something beachy! I was inspired by maplecakes sea turtle cake. This one was sculpted from two 1/4 sheet cakes and 2 small oval cakes. A mixture of crushed graham crackers and brown sugar for the sand.
These cookies were for a party with YMCA friends. Penney McCaonnell's cookie recipe with royal icing.
This cake was carved from an 11X15 cake. The abstract cheereader was downloaded from the internet and free-handed on the cake.
This is the wedding cake that I delivered to Dallas (3 hours away). Had the 2 tiers stacked and double-doweled for the drive and used the stress-free support system between the 12" cake and 16" cake. Bride's colors were pale pink and lt. gold. Used ivory for "C" scrolls but thought I added too much color. When we got to the reception site, the color matched perfectly. I always say this but "This is my favorite wedding cake", until the next one.
At the consult with the Bride, she had always dreamed of the wedding cake with stairsand fountain. Original design also had another 2-layer 6" cake sitting on table in front of the fountain with stairs from the side cakes meeting on top of that cake. Told bride this cake would need a large table. You see what I got! Scraped the small cake in front (which would block the fountain). Did not like this design at first, but once it was together, I liked it better.
This cake was made with an 11X15 cake pan--edges trimmed abit, and Twinkies for the legs and shoes. Large marshmallows for the sleeves.
These were for a BD party and the theme was "Dogs". These were fashioned after my own schnauzers...Maggie and Sallie.
These are suppose to look like pinecones but they look like trees to me.
The writing is horrible. I put the shuttle on and tried to write over it. 1/4 sheet cake with 1/2 ball cake. Downloaded shuttle pic from internet and put on funfoam. Floats above the Earth on florist wire. Bottom cake is chocolate buttercream frosting with blue overspray.

This was for an old friends' 25th anniversary. Hand-rooled fondant pearls in Antique Silk luster dust, and pre-made gumpaste flowers from Sweet Inspirations/CalJava. Qulited impressoin mat used.
My school kids cookies have turned into pirate kids cookies...LOL!
