Girls Minecraft Cake
Based on the popular Minecraft video game, this is a two-tier square cake, 5-inch on top of 8-inch. The 5-inch cake was actually baked in a 10-inch pan and cut into fourths, but I only used 3 layers. I used the Mity Rain Square Cookie Cutter to cut the squares. The name was fondant painted with vodka and black gel color. I found the Alex figurine on Amazon.

Unicorn Cake
This version of the popular unicorn cake is airbrushed ombre buttercream. Four layers total, two each of chocolate and vanilla. I like the taller, more narrow cakes for these because the face looks more horse-like than the shorter, wider cakes. The horn is airbrushed gold with additional gold luster dust highlights for added shine. Rainbow buttercream hair with dragees throughout.

Quilted Teal And Gold Sweet 16 Cake
This sweet 16 cake is quilted fondant (Wilton teal) with gold dragees. I created the bow using the tutorial "How To Make a Bow: the Krazy Kool Cakes Way" because I wasn't happy with how my other bows had been turning out. I love their tutorials. Then I airbrushed the bow as well as the name and the rope border. I used a little bit of edible dust for added shine.
