I made this for Sugar Art Museum Collaboration. My cake inspirated by Gaudi’s Mosaic Chymneys, Palau Guell, Barcelona and Klimt’s Painting The Kiss. I decided not to use all the elements from the Klimt’s painting, just some of it and more concentrated on the Gaudi’s mosaic. I used handpainting and modelling technic to make this cake.

Cakes Against Violence The urge of organising this collaboration came after the terrible terrorist attacks in Paris on 13th November 2015. A date we will never forget. And as in the latest years many attacks happened in several cities, we wanted to spread a message of peace, solidarity and anti-violence by making a sugar creation to bring more sweetness in this mad world. 80 cake decorators around the world came together for this beautiful cause of peace. My piece inspiration came from the writing that I found on internet and that also my wishes for world peace. It says ‘Light a candle for peace. Light a candle for love. My cake is inspired by the Zuhair Murad’s Fall / Winter 2011-2012 Couture Collection. The collection was influenced by Chinese and Japanese Culture. I hand painted the Chinese phoenix and I used sprinkles for the bow which gave it the velvety look. Traditionally, Chinese phoenix painting always comes with a peony flower so it is the reason I added it on the top of the cake. Hope you like it :)
I made this last time for my son’s birthday. I just wanted to challenge my self with a grafity defying cake. The cake was chocolate mud cake and rasberry jam. The roof, the boat and the sea all were cake supported by structure. Hope you like it.
My friend asked me to did spiderman cake. Well usually i always make cute subject and this cake challange me. I hand cut all the spidey, the spiderman, and also the name of the birthday boy. I used the font of the title of spiderman to wrote the name..so it will match all the theme. After i cutted the spiderman, i handpainted it to get the details….i post it on the last photo for you to see what i did. And for the effect of spider net effect, i handpainted again all around the cake. The cake it self is vanilla sponge with the apricot jam and chocs ganache. Hope you like it as i do. Another peppa pig cake that i made. This time i made different and design it with patchwork. My friend asked with some colour of violet…so i made it with combination between pink and violet colours. The patchwork design i cut it one by one with knife without any mould..and it’s all around until the back. Some details i painted it one by one. I used square cookie cutter to cut all the squares. The cake is sponge cake with apricot jam and chocolate ganache. Hope you like it as i do :) Thank you for watching xxx

Finally peppa pig’s carousel landed on the cake :) ….i made the base little bit simple because i want all the focus on the carousel as the carousel was the biggest part and the hardest job…Then i use peppa pig logo to wrote the birthday girl name.
