My cake is inspired by the Zuhair Murad’s Fall / Winter 2011-2012 Couture Collection. The collection was influenced by Chinese and Japanese Culture. I hand painted the Chinese phoenix and I used sprinkles for the bow which gave it the velvety look. Traditionally, Chinese phoenix painting always comes with a peony flower so it is the reason I added it on the top of the cake. Hope you like it :)
