G-Force Birthday Cake
I made this for my sons 8th Birthday, he loves G-Force and wanted the scene in the movie with the snake, since that is his favorite part. Ahead of time, I made up some crispie treats, and formed the guinea pig and snake head, then covered them in royal icing and fondant. The parachuting guinea pig part was a challenge, but I drilled into a board, putting in some dowels, and added some plumbing pipe, then covered it the best I could with clouds. :) The cake itself was chocolate with whipped cream.

Erica's Popcorn Cake!
For my daughters 12th Birthday, she was having a movie theme. I made the bottom cake (white with raspberries) to look like a movie reel, fondant strip around the cake painted with food coloring, and cardboard "reels" on either side. There is a giant peanut butter cup (recipe online) sitting on top of that, and the popcorn bucket (chocolate with fudge and bavarian) was carved and fondant covered, and the red stripes were added after. I then had fun adding some homemade bon bons, and store bought candies to it. Popcorn was mini marshmallows cut and painted. She loved it!

Easter Cookies/ Birthday Cookies
I took these to school to celebrate my daughters Easter Birthday this year. Fondant covered and piped in royal.....tray broke in the classroom and they all hit the floor....can you image the wreckage of royal piping all over?? I coudlnt help but just laugh, and felt bad that the teacher was holding them when it broke. I heard that some were actually salvaged, and not too bad...hehe!

Webkinz Orca Whale Cake
For my daughters 11th Birthday...she was having a webkinz theme for her party, and wanted a whale theme for the cake...so this is what I came up with! The whale was rice crispie wrapped around a crystal stand, and then covered in royal and fondant. Mini cakes and upper cake all in frosting, horrid black! Thought it was a good idea, didnt take much food coloring, but was still a little bitter for my taste....kids on the other hand didnt notice it at all!

Naughty And Nice Cake
A tame cake for a bride to be and her older family members at a shower. She was afraid they would be offended by anything to risque, so we just did a 1/2 and 1/2 naughty and nice themed cake. All fondant, except feathers which were "glued" to the back of a rose petal off the cake.

Star Wars At-At Cake
For my sons 6th Birthday party; he is totally into Star Wars and had very specific instructions for me on how to make his cake. :) The AT-AT was suppose to look like it was falling, without actually falling.....that would be no fun at a party to see the cake fall! The head was styrofoam, and legs and platform wood. Cake was fondant covered and piped in royal...my hands (and tongue) were BLACK when I was done...hahaha!

I hope to continue making small cakes for friends and family, but our business is now offically over after 15 years...sad and exciting.
