My first 3D T.Rex chocolate cake, I made it for my Grandson who turned 5 and wanted a red T.Rex. The T.Rex went down a treat and the best part was when I pulled the teeth out I made quite a few mistakes starting with the base, the tail and the lower front, but nobody noticed My Grandson told me it was 99% perfect and that was music to my ears
My grandson who is turning 5 years asked for a Red T Rex cake and has been watching the sketch come alive and is loving the yellows, oranges and yes the red. I am really looking forwards to making the cake and seeing his excitement when he sees it for the first time it will be a chocolate cake covered in white modelling chocolate with a milk chocolate ganache filled with a white chocolate ganache buttercream

Cake Central invited me to join themin a project and the theme was Geod wedding cakes I had never seen a geod before let alone made sugar crystals. My kitchen looked like a scene from Breaking Bad with sugar crystals all over the window sills, the shelfs. It was a challenging cake to say the least and I was very happy when I was informed that my cake was going to be featured alongside some awesome cakes.

I made this cake for a regional cake competition in Taunton held by the sugarcraft guild in the UK and won gold I was blown away as I know all the little mistakes I made and was pretty sure that I misssed the boat on this cake
I might have bitten off more than I can chew with this cake, but I fell in love with clock and thought it would make a very pretty cake.
I had never seen the bubbly guppies until I made this cake for my grandson. About 8.00pm the night before the party I did not like the way the cake was looking. So I stripped the cakes to the buttercream level & rebuilt the cakes and by 1.00am I was 99% happy and very tired Got up at 7.00am and drove for 4 hours to the party When my grandson saw the cake, his face lit up and he said feesh then I was 100% happy
