Art Nouveau Wedding Cake

This cake was featured in Vol 5 Issue 2 and was Inspired by Artist Alphonse Mucha. I wanted to work with the head band of the girl in the inspiration picture.

"art Deco Affair"

I made this cake for the Rocky Mountain Sugar Art Show. I pleated the fondant on the bottom tier, and used both gum paste and fondant to make the decorations. The mask and feathers are gum paste.

Baby Shower Cake (For The Dad!)

Baby shower cake for a man! Our Executive Chef is welcoming his first baby into the world, and whereas most baby shower cakes are made for women, we felt he needed one of his own! The chef hat and all his "man stuff"( including the trash can) was made out of modeling chocolate, and the baby and blanket were made out of fondant.

I made this cake for my boss who wanted to surprise his wife for her baby shower! Its a lemon poppy seed cake filled with lemon mousse and a lemon SMBC. I made the dogs out of modeling chocolate, and the flowers are gum paste.

Angry Birds Star Wars cake. Gluten Free layers of chocolate, and coconut chocolate chip cake, with vanilla bean buttercream. Fondant covered, all the birds are fondant, and I used an ice method for the chocolate "asteroid" pieces.
