This is my new Instructable and a cake for our family dinner. It was a tribute to my Gran. She made me the Doctor Bird Cake ( Hummingbird bird cake) once when I was young . I researched and found the news paper article from 1972 then added my original edible Mason Jar and florals.
This was a Large mouth Bass sculpted cake. Fish made from rice crispy and vanilla cake base all covered and decorated with fondant and my custom rocks.

My Mother loves mason jars and Lilacs ,so I sculpted a small mason jar ,made a mold and cast with Lavender hard candy. Hand sculpted lilac flowers and filled the jar with a sweet bouquet . All on top of a fondant covered sunflower sugar cookie. Got to love our moms. I now sell food safe molds in different sizes of the mason jars.
