This cake was for a breast cancer fundraiser that Kristen Davis appeared at in Boca Raton, FL. It has a real sugar martini glass, hand strung pearls, a hand cut and decorated NY city skyline. The letters and "O" pattern on top tier were cut out on a Cricut Cake. LOVE is made of royal icing, the shoe is milk chocolate painted with lustre dust and cornstarch.
This cake was actualy made with Brownies instead for Father's Day. It was covered in fondant and has fondant shrimp. I used modeling tools to give it some texture and had to paint by hand bc my airbrush wasn't working for some reason. The gloss look was achieved with some cooking spray.
Was actually for a Birthday for a new Laywer who just got her first job. Book cake on bottom is covered in fondant. The roses are fondant and the scale of justice was made from a wood base structure covered and decorated in fondant. I used real gold chains to attach the little cups on the scale. Have to plan ahead to do this one for drying time of the fondant cups. Airbrushed the scale with gold luster dust. (She didn't want to cut it!)
Bobby Jack Monkey was for my daughter's 10th birthday. (It was supposed to have rice krispy arms but my hubby left the sliding door open and they didn't get krispy enough. ) I ended up having to use to use styrofoam f or the arms and ears and tail. The legs are rice krispies. We made the "frame" from wood and the cake is Duncan Hines mix and the buttercream icing was a mix of the premade Wilton chocolate and homemade vanilla buttercream. The cake was a hit with the guests as well as my own family.
Cupcakes for a Madagascar BD Party. The lion face & logos are from my new printer, and for the Zebra stripes I used a paintbrush. All buttercream icing. I added a few royal icing flowers on some of the borders because the party was for a girl.

My daughter, a cat lover, asked for a Webkinz Beagle Cake this year. It is iced in buttercream. I used an airbrush. The frame is wood. The paws & tail are rice krispies and the ears are styrofoam.
This is white cake w BC icing for Juliette Low's Birthday Party. It was for a Girl Scout function. The top cake is from the Wilton pan and it is on a 12x18. I used an airbrush and piped the pink borders and added royal icing flowers.

Gelatin on wires accent this fondant covered cake. RI is accented with silver Luster Dust. I made a tiny cookie cutter for the red coke bottles on the cake board!
