Peacock Lady
A version of McLin's Flapper cake for my mom's b-day...added a few details, tweaked the figure a little. Cake is pumpkin spice with pecans, filled with thick caramel and frosted with white chocolate cream cheese frosting. A disc of black fondant was used on the top of the cake, lady is hand-cut from gumpaste, gumpaste feathers. Details are hand-painted with food colouring, luster dust and edible markers. Rosettes piped on cake sides.

Pumpkin Pie Cake
Thanks to the CC tutorial for instructions on how to make these pumpkin pie toppers! Made this for Thanksgiving which was this past weekend here in Canada. Chocolate cake with JodieF's thick caramel filling, frosted with RLB's neoclassic buttercream and pumpkin pie slices made from caramels and fondant crust. First time using something other than American buttercream or cream cheese frosting...really hard to smooth out when it doesn't crust!

Purple Posey Wedding Cake
First wedding cake, for my sister this summer. Vanilla, chocolate and marble tiers with fudge filling and covered with ivory-coloured lavender buttercream (made from powdered sugar that Iinfused with flavor from dried lavender buds). Swiss dots, over 120 gumpaste roses, 300 gumpaste white blossoms, fabric ribbon.
