Lalaloopsy Giant Birthday Cupcake-Cake
This cake was carved out of multiple sized round cakes covered in MMF as well as MMF buttons and shapes. The stitches are hand painted using food color gel. On the bottom part of the cupcake- doesn't show well in the pictures- but I indented filagree designs on to the "cupcake foil" and painted in luster dust. No RCT was used here. Finished product stands just shy of a foot tall.

Jacana Baby Bedding Inspired Baby Shower Cake.
Baby shower cake time! This fondant covered cake was inspired by Jacana baby bedding ( http://www.babysupermall.com/main/products/coc/coc7835-854.html?gclid=CKzmw9uekq8CFQmMtgodZC2f0Q ). Each of the fondant animals were cut out by free hand and outlined using food color gel and a paint brush to give it that "drawn" look. The animals include monkies, a giraffe, an elephant and a hippo. The top tier is decorated in soft yellow/pink giraffe print. Both the bottom and top layers are brushed over with sheen to give that extra sparkle. Everything on the cake is edible.

Holy Ammo, Trains & Automobiles!
Holy Ammo, Trains & Automobiles! This is a 3 tiered topsy turvy cake created to commemorate 3 birthdays from 3 different generations- what a great idea! The bottom layer is for the dad turning 38 who loves hunting- hence the ammo themed cover and bullets around the bottom of the first tier. (Its hard to see in the picture but the bottom cake is covered in a marbled fondant of brown, orange, green.) The 2nd tier represents the grandfather who turned 66 and loves all things hot rods! The top tier is for the grandson who is turning 3 and loves choo choo trains! The top of the 3rd tier has a big black/yellow RR sign with a numero 3. The only things that are not edible on this cake are the toy cars and choo choo train- those were toys bought for keepsakes. Unfortunately what you can't see in the pictures is that each of the bullets is painted with edible gold dust.

Fondant Covered Wedding Cake
This was my first fondant covered wedding cake... This was created for my brother and sister in law- my brother was home on leave from the Marines and got married to his sweet heart <3 I have since learned to make my own MMF- the stuff that sits on the shelf for however long is just gross. Good learning experience though.

Crown Royal On Ice Wedding Shower Cake
This cake was created for a "Stock The Bar" wedding shower in which all invited bring some sort of alcohal to "stock the bar." I for one think thats a great idea!!! The brides favorite drinks are Crown Royal & Coors beer. The bottle of Crown was created from rice crispy treats, covered in fondant, painted and than topped with an edible label. The bottle is surrounded in "ice" to look like its on the rocks- the ice is created from melted sugar. The cake is half chocolate/half vanilla and covered in yellow & purple (I know it looks blue :P) vanilla buttercream. I also added cupcakes that had edible fondant beer bottle caps painted in edible silver dust and hand painted mountain emblem.
