Thomas The Tank Engine
This cake was inspired by an uncredited cake I found on google. It was great fun and I was trying a new vanilla cake recipe which went really well with the white choc ganache. It was the first time I've done the slanted tiers and worked out ok I think. Thomas the birthday boy loved it and couldn't wait to sent Thomas the toy down the tracks. Thanks for looking :)

Blue And White Giftbox
I made this cake for my beautiful Mother-in-law. It was chocolate and caramel mud with chocolate ganache. Loved making it and happily she loved receiving it! She collects willow pattern china and her whole house is blue and white so this seemed perfect. She wanted to keep it on the sideboard :)

Tool Box Cake
This cake is for a sprightly 90 year old. The design is inspired by one of Verusca's cakes :) It's white chocolate mud with white chocolate ganache. Everything is edible. I had to finish this in 40 degree heat so the fondant was virtually sliding off as I tried to cover the toolbox! Drove me insane trying to keep the sharp edges while it was all so soft, so I'm surprised it turned out okayish lol! Thanks for looking :)

Fairy Barbie
Fairy Barbie in the birthday girls favourite colours of dark fuschia and purple. I had SO much fun, fiddled around with it for days even before I started baking. I made the wire and beaded tiara and the glittery fairy wings. The cake was a carmel mudcake with caramel ganache. Thanks for all the inspiration from lots of pictures here on CC. Thanks for looking :)

Dancers Cake
This cake was for my eldest daughters best friend. She dances and also does acro and contortion. I sketched her silhouette from a photo of her and then carved it out of black fondant with tylose to harden. The bow is the second one I've made using the fantastic tutorial from the amazingly talented English Cake Lady. The black bow was my first and was the better of the two, but the cake really needed the pink bow. This is the first time I have stencilled and can't wait to do more. The birthday girl loved it. Thanks so much for looking :)

Double-Barrell Frangipanis
This is my first double-barrell cake. It's made up of 2 9 inch cakes, torted 3 times with white chocolate ganache. I covered it in pale green buttercream frosting which is the birthday girls favourite colour. It has alternate layers of white chocolate mud and caramel mud. It ended up about 12 inches tall (around 30cms) including the frangipanis. It took about a week from starting making the flowers to finishing. Thanks for looking

My First Wedding Cake
This is my first ever wedding cake - so nerve-wracking! It was for a lovely bride having her reception at the beautiful Wharf Restaurant on stunning Sydney Harbour. I lost count a 560 daisies all hand cut and then each petal was individually fluted! The flowers alone took 7 hours....worth the effort though I hope, thanks for looking :)
