Busch Beer 40Th Birthday Cake
The birthday ladies favorite beer. Homemade vanilla cake and buttercream frosting. I baked the cakes inside the beer can :) Icing sheets for labels and fondant for the can toppers. :) I used the can lid to cut out the can toppers and to get the impression for the top of the can. Sprayed with Wiltons edible silver spray. :) RKT for beer glass. The stem of helium balloon covered in fondant is the beer pouring from the can to the glass. Melted chocolate was used to secure the can to the balloon stick :)

Ugly Sweater Cake Pops
I could not located an unlgy sweater small cutter anywhere local. So I did the next best thing. I made a template. I combined my crumbled chocolate cake and buttercream frosting. Than I line a cookie sheet and patted it to cover the pan. I refrigerated it for at least a couple of hours to set up. Next, I used my template and a knife to cut out my sweaters. It worked. :) I dipped my cookie sticks into the chocolate and inserted them into the sweaters. Refrigerated again. Once set I dipped them in there corresponding colors to the sticks I previously inserted. First I coated on side than turned it over for the other side. :) Very lightly tapped away excess chocolate and used a sharp knife to carefully remove excess chocolate under the arm section. :)

50Th Birthday Cake
I had a go at a movie reel cake. I do not have an edible printer. So I used the paint application under the desk accessories on Windows 8. Price Chopper made than printed them onto sugar sheets for me :) The cake was a hit with the family. They got a kick out of looking at the old pictures on the cake.

Pastillage Horse And Carriage
Purchased this template/tutorial from Yenersway.com a while back. I fell in love with it. However it still took me months to give it ago. I was intimidated by it. I thought It was above my level of skill. Finally I stepped up and gave it a go. Love the end result. With some trial and error. All part of the learning process I completed it. The tutorial is straight forward. No special/expensive tools needed to be purchased. :) Yeah!! It turned out to be easier than I anticipated. I also had to find and make a Pastillage recipe. I ended up using a recipe on youtube from a Martha Stewart video. THIS IS MY FIRST EVER PROJECT USING PASTILLAGE, MAKING A HORSE AND CARRIAGE>

Wine Barrel Cake
My hat goes off to MakeYourOwnMolds.com. Their videos and mold making kits taught me how to make my own molds. Plus a sugar wine bottle and sugar wine glasses. A lot / ton was learned through trial and error. Another shout out to Craftsy.com blog. It taught me how to make my fondant shine and how to make wood looking fondant :) The cake it self is homemade red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting . With the exception of the sugar glasses and wine bottle everything else was made with fondant. Thank you :) Have a great day everyone :)
