Graduation Cake With Mascot.
The graduate wanted the school's mascot on the cake, so I used rice krispie treats for the rocket. (Check out that quirky grin! - I promise it looked just like that). The cake is frosted with buttercream with fondant accents. The name, year, and hat are chocolate. I used Americolor edible markers for the features on the rocket. TFL!

Thank You Tonedna!!
This was my entry in the Queen City Cake and Sugar Art Show in Cincinnati. I fell in love with Tonedna's beautiful Garden Elegance cake and wanted to use her design for my entry. I pm'd her and asked her permission and she was so wonderful to give me her blessing!! My version doesn't come close to hers, but it was good enough to win Best of the Advanced/Semi-Pro Division!! I wsa so thrilled and want to say - Thank you, thank you, thank you Edna for your inspiration and for sharing your talent!! TFL!!

Over In The Jungle!
This was made for a luncheon at school. The illustrator of the book was attending and I made the cake for my friend, the school's librarian, to represent the book's theme. I used my airbrush for the color. The animals are fondant, the butterfly is gumpaste. Would have added lots more if time had allowed! Thanks for looking!
