I did this wedding cake for my daughter's big day. She had a vintage/rustic themed wedding - heavier on the vintage side. The cake was done with BC and MMF, all flowers are real.

This cake was decorated around the partyware for a little girl's birthday. It is frosted ina blend of butter/crisco buttercream (it was an outdoor party, still rather warm in this area). All decor is MMF painted with food gels
I made these for the wedding shower of a very special young lady - she was a young girl who babysat my daughter for me, helped me raise her up so beautifully. She now is co-owner of a daycare. ?? She is southern through and through, so when a friend wanted to hostess a shower for her using two of her favorite things - sunflowers and piggies - I was thrilled to do it. They turned out beautifully. Sugar cookies with royal icing decoration. The 'seeds' on the outer rings of the flowers are crusted in sanding sugar.
My GREAT nephew loves dinosaurs, so that was the perfect theme for his party this year. =) The volcano is RCT covered with buttercream. Dinos were toys for him to keep and play with later.
This customer's little boy is a huge fan of Power Rangers. The cake is frosted with real buttercream - I did a little spray on blue to give it more of a 'cartoon' coloring look. All the decorations are MMF and painted with food gels.

We had a senior who is going on to play golf in college, but loves all the sports he played - and excelled at them all. So he asked me to make him a sports themed graduation cake. All decor is MMF and royal icing.
A friend asked me to put together a KY Wildcats cake for her husband. He's a huge fan. She asked that I also do some detail about them winning the national championship this year. The detail work is all done on MMF. All white detail work is royal icing. The bottom decoration with the wildcat is painted with gel food coloring.

This cake was for a young lady who is going to college to pursue a degree in accounting. Buttercream covered with MMF. Calculator is made from a large chocolate bar and KitKat pieces. All other decor is MMF.

This cake was so fun (and funny) to make. A friend's daughter loves the show Dog the Bounty Hunter - I MEAN LOVES IT. So we did her a cake up for her 9th birthday that was inspired by Dog and Beth. White cake w/ BC and MMF. The handcuffs are modeling chocolate.
This customer likes simple dessert cake, but she wanted one for her son that had his favorite team mascot - Arkansas Razorbacks. =) So I did a fondant cutout of one and 'pianted' it.

My daughter turned 18 this month. Sniff sniff! She loves all things high dollar (unfortunately for her daddy) and needed an over the top cake. So she got it. =) I saw a similar cake online (sorry, I'm not good at keeping up with who makes what. My bad) and did my version. My daughter liked red roses for the top, so we went with roses. The bottom tier is white cake with sliced strawberries and fresh banana filling. The top is also white cake with a raspberry mousse filling. BC and MMF. All decor is MMF except flowers on top, they are silk.
This cake was very special for me. Its based on my favorite book from when both of my children were small. Given that the shower was for our school librarian, it just seemed fitting. =) The cake is yellow and marble, BC, MMF, all decor is edible. The characters are painted with gel food coloring onto dried MMF sheets that were then cut out. Everything else is either fondant, BC, or royal icing.
The customer sent me a picture of one of the party napkins and it had fun little sock monkeys on it with dots in the colors used on the cake. The monkey is made from modeling chocolate and white modeling chocolate. Cake is chocolate with chocolate buttercream, MMF overlay and dots/name.

My daughter was a junior this past year and her class sponsored the high school Prom. They wanted some fancy items to go along with their Paris theme. I was more than happy to be of service to them.
I made this cake for my nephew and niece's baby sister. When they were small, I had brought them ears back from DW that looked just like this - well, my niece's did anyway. lol
My son wanted a Toy Story 3 party this past year. So I made him a cake with that theme. All the decor (except Buzz and Woody) are MMF and royal icing. He was a happy lil cowpoke!
