Flower Fairy Cake With Petals
I made this cake for my oldest daughter 4th birthday. She wanted a fairy cake. I put some petals in the dress and tired the petals together with a ribbon to hide the fairy. She released the ribbon just before she cut the cake so the flower just open up and reveal the fairy inside! I used MM fondant so it was soft enough to do the trick - and it worked! Everyone was amazed! Most importantly, the birthday girl loved it! x

James (In Thomas) Cake
I made this cake for my friends' little boy James who turned 2. His party was held at the beach. So I made the little hill with James train on it, completed with a cave at the back. I made some cupcakes to go with it cos it's easier to give out cupcakes at the beach. The cakes wow all the children:)

Waybuloo Cake - Lau Lau's House
My 1-yr-old daughter absolutely loves Waybuloo so I was determined to make her a Waybuloo cake. I decided to make Lau Lau's house - only because I got some purple fondant let over! I baked two cakes in matel mixing bowl, cover them in purple fondant then stick them together bottom to bottom with icing, and use brown fondant to add the detail. Mkaing the roof was tricky cos of the flyinh ends. I cut out 2 different sizes square and moded them into shape. I put tissue papper underneath to help the shape set. Wait until it dry and pop them on top of the cake. I put lots of little flowers to cover up some cracks (which made the cake more appeal to children as well!) I also use some stones to form my daughter's name. The cake was a hit!

In The Night Garden - Over The Bridge Cake
This is one of the 3 cakes I made for my youngest daughter's 1st birthday. She loves In the Night Garden, and quite into Makka Pakka! So making Makka Pakka's cave is a must! I baked 2 square cakes and cut the hole, put some fondant on and make the bridge. Pop the charaters on and the cake is done! quick and easy:)
