I made this cake for my oldest daughter 4th birthday. She wanted a fairy cake. I put some petals in the dress and tired the petals together with a ribbon to hide the fairy. She released the ribbon just before she cut the cake so the flower just open up and reveal the fairy inside! I used MM fondant so it was soft enough to do the trick - and it worked! Everyone was amazed! Most importantly, the birthday girl loved it! x
