"I want lots of bling" cake. The bride brought me a picture so I can't take full credit for the design.
Tooled leather wedding cake. All decorations are edible. For the belt, I made a gumpaste mold from a belt that I have. After the mold was hardened, I was able to cast all the bits and pieces. I made a mold for the studs using an upholstery tack.
Pirate Groom's Cake. The map edging is an edible image applied to fondant with Crisco. I was able to manipulate the edges after letting the image melt into the fondant after a couple of hours. I painted the edges with melted cocoa butter and petal dust.
