A design that has been floating around in my head for a while- inspired by a bough of Royal Poinciana overhanging fresh bitumen on a golden summer's day :) Handmade sugar flowers, polished black fondant and gold lustre.

Dragon is choc mud cake and sculpting chocolate over a custom built acrylic frame. The wings are gumpaste over floral wire. Dragon sits on a 20" round board. A wedding cake for a lovely goth couple!
Stencilled owl for a thirtieth birthday. Owl carved from two stacked 6 1/2 inch squares of choc mudcake, covered with chocolate fondant. Feathers in the fascinator are made from rice paper.
