Candy Corn Haunted Castle
Candy Corn Haunted Castle is almost completely edible. I was going to make it with the Wilton set, but don't agree with so much being fake. The cakes are 10" round and 8" round covered in Fondant with candy corns around them. The towers in the back are made from jumbo size marshmallows covered with Fondant and the other towers are regular icecream cones dipped in chocolate on the ends (they came that way) and then painted with frosting coloring diluted with water to make them black. The turrets on top are sugar cones covered with fondant and then attached to the turrets with buttercream. The doors and windows are also fondant. The only inedible piece is the triangle in the center and that is only because I ran out of time. On the cake board the path is Reece's Pieces and mini-M&M's. I used brown frosting on the board and crushed thin mint cookies to use as dirt. The pumpkins are candy and the tombstones are fondant. Thanks for looking!

Thomas The Train
My good friends Nephew was turning 2 and loves Thomas! So I baked the 2 and made a track around it. I used chocolate rocks for decoration and sugar cones covered in buttercream to make trees. The rest is covered in buttercream. The Thomas the Train was a toy that became part of his presents.

Checkerboard Cake
Hand made check board cake. I made a red layer and a white layer. I then made rings the sizes I needed and cut them out and layered them to create the check board look. I then melted chocolate in dark and white and used a small cookie cutter to make the chocolate squares. I then applied them in a checkerboard fashion on the outside. Lastly I added hand dipped chocolate covered strawberries on top.

Air Force Retirment Cake
My first attempt at a tier cake. I learned a lot from it so I can make a better one next time, such as types of support and transporting it. It is a 3-tier 12" 10" and 8" cakes double layers of 3" pan size. Buttercream frosting with blue fondant ribbons around base of tiers and fondant flag. Also hand cut out and made the Air Force emblem and plaque out of Fondant. Only non-edible part is the silver stars out of the top because I ran out of time.

Soccer Birthday Cake
This is a Birthday cake for a 10 year old girl. She loves soccer and wanted a soccer cake for her Birthday. I had seen other photos similar to this one on Cake Central so I choose to make one like it. I did make the sky in the background look a little more realistic however by mixingwhite into my buttercream after it had been tinted. The cake is yellow with Buttercream frosting and the ball is Rice Krispie treat with Fondant.
