Princess Castle
My version of the ever popular princess castle! I've been wanting to make a castle for some time, but didn't want to make the turrets. Love how this style is still so clearly a castle without them! Thanks to so many others for the inspiration! All buttercream, fondant windows and edging.

Cinderella Themed Birthday
My daughter demanded a Cinderella themed party for her third birthday. I admit, I was lazy, and didn't feel like making fondant, so I attempted all buttercream. I DEFINITELY need a ton more work with buttercream, and think I could have done a much better job on this cake. My lack of experience, combined with decorating the cake last minute, midnite the nite before the party, made for a below par cake for me... But, my daughter LOVED it, which was the most important thing! (Plus, all that buttercream was sure yummy!) LOL

Tinkerbell Birthday
I was asked to do a Tinkerbell birthday cake for a little girl's first birthday. After throwing a few ideas around, the client decided to let me have my way with it. This is what I came up with. Couldn't be happier with the results! Covered in mmf, mmf accents. All edible except Tinkerbell on top; it is a candle.

Purple Baptism
I was asked to make a cake for a little one's baptism. Was only told to include purple, but to come up with the design myself. This was the final results. Pictures don't do this cake justice, it was so much prettier in real! Loved the results, so simple and girly. Covered in mmf, mmf accents, butter cream letters.

Belle Birthday
The client wanted the Belle cake where the dress is the actual cake. However, we were not able to find the actual Belle topper for it. So, they decided to give me complete free reign to do whatever I wanted with it. I am super happy with the final result! I think the cake SCREAMS Belle! All hand made fondant decorations. The topper is a small doll I purchased to use.

First Topsy Turvy
MY very first attempt at a topsy-turvy style cake. I have been too nervous to try one! My cousin needed a cake for her daughter's birthday, and told me to practice on her... SO glad she made me do it!! I'm pretty happy with the results, although I wish I had put more of an angle on the bottom layer. I learned a lot for the next time I try, though!!! Overall, I am very happy with the results, seeing as it's my very first try!

Vancouver Canucks
My very first attempt at a frozen buttercream transfer. Super happy with the results!!! Also, one of my first successful jobs at smoothing buttercream. Still a long way to go when it comes to buttercream, but I'm getting there!! Don't mind the messy writing and the sloppy edge of the cake, my two year old just HAD to help decorate her daddy's birthday cake! It's tough to do a neat job with a two year old hanging on to your icing bag!!! LOL

Mexican Fiesta Birthday
I was asked to do a cake for a 30th birthday, and it was to be a beach party theme. At THE very last minute, I was notified that it was no longer a beach theme, but had been changed to a Mexican theme! I was stuck!! Found inspiration from a cake on here, but I don't remember who's it was to give credit... Overall, I was pretty happy with the result, considering I only had 12 hours notice of the change!!!
