Client supplied picture of cake by Inspired by Michelle and asked me to replicate. I took a little artistic licence and added eyelashes to the bug and a butterfly (also had to slightly overlap the hearts so they would fit), otherwise did my best to replicate the original. Cake is a fruit cake supplied by the client - her Mum made it.

Rich chocolate cake, generously drizzled with a kirsch and cherry syrup, layered with vanilla bean infused whipped cream and sour morello cherries and topped off with lashings of the cream, whittikers 77% dark chocolate shavings and a maraschino cherry.
