Peacock For Cc Magazine
To say that I was surprised when I was asked to submit a cake for the magazine would be an understatement. I feel honoured that my cake was included in the last issue, especially as this was my first ever creation with gumpaste. The inspirations for this peacock cake came from whitestar08's magnolia cake along with many others that gave me ideas, so thanks to everyone. Special thanks to bobwonderbuns and milkmaid42 for their support and encouragement. Thanks for looking. :)

Magnolia
My first gumpaste flowers! I?m still excited! I went to a workshop to learn the basics and these are the first that I made at home. :D They are practice for a cake that I want to make for a good friend. I could also imagine to exchange the magnolia with orchids? if I can manage making them. What do you think would go well with ?natural, mostly white, combined with a fox and bunny on the top tier?? I?d really appreciate ideas. Thanks for looking.

Unexpected Guests...
?came in the night and dug into the leftovers of our dessert table. While the big red octopus (6# red velvet plus 2 cupcakes) was munching happily on chocolate chip cookies and popcorn his smaller friends were enjoying red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. I hope they did not get indigestion... :D Thanks for looking.

Mozarttorte
I made this cake to test the composition that I wanted to taste like the famous chocolates "Mozartkugeln". I made a moist chocolate cake and filled it with a layer of nougat frosting and a layer of marzipan with kirsch before I covered it with chocolate cream cheese frosting. It turned out delicious. The decorations's made of marzipan and chocolates. Thanks for looking.

Team Logo
I start to believe that Mom's colleagues have no other interests but soccer. LOL So it's the team of Bavaria Munich this time. It's a red velvet cake with a twist, some melted coffee chocolate and dried cherries as extra flavour, filled with cherry jam and decorated with cream cheese frosting and marzipan details. TFL

Christmas Turkey
One of the linedancers loved the turkey I made for our Christmas party so much that he asked me to make him one for Christmas day. I tried to make it different from the first one and I think it turned out well. I am so happy with the apples and beans wrapped with bacon as those were first time attempts. :D Thanks for looking.

Schalke 04
A pound cake logo of the German soccer team Schalke 04. I tried making a relief for the first time. It worked well, but then I wasn't sure how to get the two colored look, so I ended up with using blue icing instead of colored marzipan or fondant. I'd really appreciate suggestions. Thanks.
