Fall Leaves Themed Wedding Cake

The bride wanted a fall feel to the cake. I wish she would have chosen pine cones or acorns instead of roses, but all in all I think it came out ok. The cake is white layer cake with french vanilla buttercream. Covered in fondant. Leaves and roses done with gumpaste.

Sweet Treat Cake Balls

These were made out of left over cake I had from my last wedding cake. This is my first go at trying out cake balls and I think they came out pretty cute. My daughter is a photographer so she took the pics so that they look even cuter! :)

Gerbera Daisies And Sunflower Wedding Cake

This cake was the first cake I made with flowers. Chocolate cake with french vanilla buttercream. The flowers were made with gumpaste and "painted" with petal dust. It was my very first wedding cake! I have another to do in a few weeks because they loved this cake. :) All in all, I am happy with the results. As we all do, I critique my work more than other people so I think I have some things to work on, but I'm still happy with it and the couple loved it - which is what counts in the end right?

Steelers Football Cake For The 2011 Superbowl

This cake was for a friend of mine that wanted a Steelers football cake for her superbowl party. It is a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. Covered in fondant and all items shown are made from fondant as well. It was a huge hit!

First Baby Shower Cake

I made this cake for a friend of a friend. This was her gift to the mom to be. This was my first tiered cake as well. Everything is edible except for the ribbon around the middle tier.

Purse B-Day Cake

This cake was my third cake using fondant. It was for my niece's birthday. It's made up of vanilla pound cake and a fantastic french vanilla buttercream. Covered in fondant. The purse is cake covered in fondant as well. All roses, etc. are fondant as well.
