Easter Bunny Basket
I made this after seeing one or two of them here on CC. Thank you for the inspiration! I made this Bunny Basket for my 3yr old grandson to take to daycare tomorrow to share with the other kids. I used a 6 in yellow cake , iced it, added the Bunny Peeps around the sides, coconut colored green with food coloring on top and added the Robins Eggs candy.

Star Cake For Independence Day
I used a star cake pan, iced the cake with as little buttercream as possible. Then I added sliced strawberries around the edge, blackberries in the middle with a whole strawberry on top and buttercream stars in between the fruits. This was my first attempt at this kind of a cake...so I found the strawberries didn't look quite the way I wanted them to.

Independence Day Flag Cake
I used a FLAG pan, iced the cake with as little buttercream as possible and then added raspberries for the red stripes and blueberries for the blue where the stars go. I then filled in with white stars for the white stripes and the stars. This was my first attempt at a cake like this.

Candle Cake
I made this for a co-worker for her 50th birthday. This cake is a 3-layer (each layer is 6") lemon cake that is iced in buttercream. I used the really strong straws that I got from the Fast Food place my daughter works at to hold the layers so that it wouldn't move. I made a hole in the center and placed a tealight inside for the "wick" of the candle. Then I used tip #233 to make grass around the bottom of the cake.

Cake For Our Baron And Baroness
I belong to the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) which is a organization dedicated to researching and recreating pre-17th century European history. I made this cake for our Baron and Baroness that were stepping down from their positions. All the images are edible images on Buttercream icing.

Nativity Story Bible Cake
I made this cake for my son's Worship Team Christmas celebration. I used my book pan, then added the edible images of the page of scripture that tells the Nativity Story and the picture of the Holy Family. I used red fondant to make a bookmark because the cake cracked down the middle! It went over so well that nobody wanted to cut it!

Cookie Monster Cake W/ Chocolate Chip Cookie Cupcakes
I made this cake for my grandson's 3rd birthday. He just loves Cookie Monster! I used the Cookie Monster pan obviously and made a yellow cake and I added chocolate chips to the cake mix. I used Wilton Royal Blue color for the fur using my favorite tip, the #233 tip. The cupcakes were also made with a yellow cake that I added chocolate chips to. I used mini chocolate chips on the tops to make them look like cookies.

Happy Birthday!
My daughter wanted a cake to take to work for all of the October birthdays...all she said was, "It HAS to be chocolate!" I used Chocolate Candy melts to cover the Chocolate cake. Not really happy cause it didn't come out as smooth as I wanted, but everyone loved it cause it was all Chocolate.

55Th Birthday Book Cake
There is a long story that goes with this cake, but it was for my friend who was working on his car. His 55th birthday was coming up and it just fit in perfect for him. Not a great book cake like others I have seen on this site but it was my first and I think I did pretty well considering.

Maxine, 50Th Birthday Cake
My friend and co-worker loves Maxine and had no problem turning 50...to her it was just a number. She also works for a Trucking Company (hence the last line that my daughter came up with). I printed out the picture of Maxine, traced it onto a piece of waxed paper, used a toothpick to outline the picture on the cake and then filled in the areas.
