Watermelon Cake
Watermelon is 1/2 Cocoa Krispie (bottom) coated with chocolate to smooth out. Top half is cake carved to shape and covered with BC, then covered with fondant colored leaf green, then sprayed Kelly green with a couple of drops of black mixed in for the stripes. Sitting on a double layer of red velvet cake. Dowels are set so that the watermelon will settle in about 25%. This watermelon was 14 lbs so it settled fast. The krispie treat will crack if you don't let the watermelon settle in for support.

Pig On A Pool Float
This pig was made for a summer party that is typically a pig roast. This year it was a beef bar-b-que so the pig got a break. He's relaxing on a pool float with a blue martini (Jello shot) His yellow arm band has the "Beef it's what's for dinner" logo on it. The float is 6 sheets of chocolate cake with pink mint chocolate chip buttercream. There was also a companion vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream for those who may not want chocolate/mint. The pig is made of 8 batches of cocoa rice krispie treats, the arms had to be wrapped with a thin layer of gumpaste to hold up in the 95 degree heat (wrapped like a cast). Ears are gumpaste also. Then the pig was covered with chocolate candy melts and smoothed for the fondant. The pink is Ameri-color Bright Pink airbrushed on. The gold chain and medallion are fondant painted with gold dust. The Speedo is green Wilton fondant. The pig was delivered with 100 Jello shots so he was the life of the party!

School Bus Cake
My son's pre-school Graduation, they got to ride the school bus for the first time to go to kindergarten so they know what it will be like in September. I had to have 21 windows to put a picture of each of the kids on there. Each of the kids pulled off their window (fondant) before the cake was cut.

Chuggington
I made this for a friends 2 year old son. That is a working LED light on the front and there are 4 flashing wig-wag lights on the rear, run on two 9V batteries. I'm going to use some of the base parts again for my son's cake, the "Harrison" train tomorow. This was my first air-brushed cake.
