Chocolate cake, with choco chip cookie dough filling and white chocolate buttercream icing. Gumpaste fence/sign and flowers. All edible, except lollipop sticks inside flower stems.
The client wanted a cake that would tell her guests what she was having. So, we designed a baby block cake. When she cut into it, the layers were alternating blue and white. She was having a boy and even she didn't know!!!
8" lemon, 10" german chocolate, 12" strawberry cakes; with cream cheese frosting. Did not stiffen the frosting, because I wanted a "melting" look for the ice. Hand-formed penguins from fondant. Used pastiage for "ice" slide.
Cake was intended to look like old-school wooden pull-toys with bottom wagon, wheels and a toy duck on top. 10" choco cake with cookie dough filling. Duck was vanilla with cream cheese frosting. Cupcakes were added bonus for mommy, cuz she didn't want to cut off the head.:(
12" bottom (red velvet w/cream cheese), 8" top (vanilla w/buttercream). Cake was tricky. Bride wanted clear box separators, but they didn't have a lid, therefore had to craft a way to not sink into other cake. Used fondant-wrapped cake divider.
I wanted to make a Toy Story cake for my 3 y.o. twins' birthdays. They LOVE Buzz and Woody. So, I decided to do it discretely, so just the shirts of the main characters. The 3rd tier was for my oldest daugher, so she wasn't left out. 8' cakes, covered in fondant. Buzz wings, Woody Sheriff badge both made of Pastillage.
My boss was expecting a baby girl. Used the Wilton Rocking Horse mold and a 16" square cake for the base. Bottom is chocolate with white chocolate mousse filling and cream cheese frosting. Horse is strawberry with white chocolate cream cheese frosting.
8" cake, raspberry cake with white chocolate cream cheese filling, MMF. Pink flower boardermade with royal icing.
8" Chocolate butter cake with caramel cream cheese filling. Used a salted caramel buttercream for outside and flowers. Unfortunately my buttercream was only a medium, so flowers weren't as "crisp" as I like them, but I think it still turned out ok.
All covered in MMF. Bottom layer is triple chocolate with peanut butter filling and chocolate ganache. Top two layers are sour cream pound cake with raspberry cream filling and white chocolate cream cheese. Letters are done with Royal Icing and all others with MMF/gumpaste blend.
Lemon cake with lemon curd filling, daisies in fondant. Covered with a strawberry/white chocolate ganache (from CC recipies.)
Chocolate cake 8", triple-layered with chocolate mousse. 2nd layer 6" same, all covered in a chocolate buttercream. Flowers are done with Royal icing, with hint of raspberry extract to create a 2nd flavor.
1-8" vanilla cake and 1-6" vanilla cake filled with Strawberry Mousee and covered with White Chocolate BC. Borders and dots are pina colada BC

Red velevet cake, cream cheese filling. Wilton brand fondant. 1st time doing a bow. It broke. But, I learned what not-to-do!!
I've got small techniques to work on...my cake tops being flat is one. Othewise, i was quite happy with this cake and I actually enjoy the basketweave pattern.
Top cake is chocolate with peanut butter filling. Fondant cut out letters (graduated in finance), fondant beaded boarder. Bottom tier is sour cream pound cake with raspberry filling, fondant coatign with butter cream ruffle. Cupcakes are chocolate with white chocolate cream cheese frosting. Cake topper and cupcake flags were store-bought.
Twins turned 2. Love Tinkerbell. The top is my idea of a Tinker Fairy's home. Made from Wilton Sphere forms, vanilla cake with coconut rum buttercream. Middle is vanilla with raspberry filling and raspberry BC. Bottome is strawberry cake, white chocolate cream cheese filling and strawberry BC. Flowers and rounds made with royal icing, top of cake made with yellow fondant flower layered, BC middle.
