Dancer
Figure modelled off a photo of the little jazz dancer. Wanted flowers pink girly so its pretty full on but the loved it. I really wanted to do black ruffles but explained that its a bit messy when they eat it so a little black piping blended nicely. Figure is sitting on a little cardboard plate covered in fondant for removal as a keepsake.

Ceiling Panel Quake Cake
I was asked to do this for an office party to celebrate the fact that they can move back into their offices now that the ceiling panels have been replaced since they came down in an earthquake. They wanted a ceiling panel and it was short notice so this is what I came up with. Cut out the holes with a straw and then placed the fondant on top of the already carved/iced cake. I used a bit of MDF panel door I had around and got the skillsaw to it to rough up the ends and make it look like it was broken. Bit of an excuse for a bit of knees up/stress releiver I think.

Horse Lover
Figure modelled off a photo supplied to me - also wanted a husky dog - the girl loves her horse and horse trekking. Fairly accurate as much as doing a 'real' horse - the colour, markings and the horses brand are all there, and what she is wearing down to the pockets on her pants. Was going to just put her on the ground holding the reins but thought I would give it a go placing her as the rider as in the photos I got. The whole top circle the figure is on is removable from the cake. Its an 8 inch maderia with bc and jam filling

Castle
Not sure if this is the right catergory or not but this is a castle with princess who has thrown down a flower to her knight in shining armour.....figures are fondant /tylose and I did not get a detailed one of the princess but her overskirt flared out on top and she has a wee tiara made from silver wire. The top tower is a 6inch dummy made ahead of time. The whole top comes off as it was an emergency repair - the fondant square bits on top were too heavy and they were leaning outwards causing the sides to collapse so I removed it, redid the top on a sturdy placemat and piped more leaves on any little gaps. Good save.... she just gets a much bigger topper than she anticipated.

Boxer
Was done for the same party as the little girl cake I had just done. All I got was he is a boxer, a maori and not how old he was. Its an 8inch chocolate cake. Posts are skewers covered in choc fodant, the ropes are also skewers but covered in white floral tape - took ages to stick it all together one side would fall off while I stuck the other side..
