This was a fun one . . . all accessories are hand made from MMF.
This was my 4 year old's bowling birthday cake. The alley and the ball are both cake covered with fondant. I painted on the wood grain for the alley and marbeled black and red fondant for the ball. The pins are rice crispy treats covered with gum paste. I sprayed the fondant with Pam cooking spray for the shiny look.
My 5 year old wanted a "Rock Star" birthday so this was the cake I made for him. It was my 2nd attempt at fondant. I couldn't find a guitar cake pan so I actually used one that was shaped as Dora the Explorer turned it upside down.
This was my first attempt at using fondant. My 3 year old wanted an Incredible Hulk cake for his birthday and this is what I came up with!
