Lego Blocks
This is my first MMF cake, made for my Lego loving son. Every batch of fondant turned out different and the orange was impossible to fix so I used it for the letters. I don't have a fondant smoother so just used my hands but I think it turned out fairly smooth. The MMF shrank at the bottom on the cakes after I trimmed it so I had to place some rolled up fondant around the edges. My son was thrilled, there was enough cake to feed everyone so I think in the end I am very happy with the results.

Pokemon Birthday
I was inspired by RiLinNa's cake where the ball appeared to be coming through the cake. I piped on the black cracks but in hindsight I should have painted them on. The Pokemon character is my first attempt at a RIT and although I did want the bird to stand up, he started to break so on top the cake he went. I used the RIT Pictorial by Cakehelp for assistance. The cake is vanilla buttercream over a vanilla cake.

Wizards Of Waverly Place
Had never heard of the show before my God-Daughter asked for this cake. Searched the web for inspiration and came up with this. First time using MMF for stars, hat, wand, book and glasses. Book and hat also made with rice crispy treats. Buttercream on cake itself. She loved it so I was happy with the results.
