This is my very first Fondant cake. Thanks to all of my friends at Cake Central. I was able to re-create this cake. The fondant is marshmellow and I had an easy time making it. Hard to believe I know.
Used Yellow cake, blue frosting, large green gum drops and one dark and one white chocolate chip. Grandkids loved these little frog cupcakes.
Butter Cream on a White Cake. Layers are filled with Strawberry jam and Strawberry Cream Filling. My first time at decorating a cake. Bought the gumpaste flowers. Do hope one day to learn how to do myself.
Tried my hand at making an Ice Cream Birthday Cake. Too hot for the whipped cream frosting and the decorations kept slipping off. lol
My two granddaughters wanted a Princess Castle Cake for their Birthday. Since they loved it so much. I was inspired to make my grandson's Race Car Birthday Cake. Plan on taking a Fondant Class soon.
This is a Pixar Movie Car Race Track Birthday Cake. My three year old grandson Christian wanted the Pixar Movie Cars racing on his cake. Used Yellow and Chocolate cake mix for the marble cake. Filling was a Almond Custard. Took two round cake pans(9" and a 10"). Sliced the end from each cake to make them fit even. Froze the cake between frostings to prevent colors from running. Recommend you dye the darker colored frostings early. They become darker with time. A little bit of corn syrup helps the frosting spread easier. Found the box to carry the cake at a Cake Decorating Store.
