I saw this picture online and decided to make it into a whimsical cake for my friend's son's birthday. I encountered a major problem (if interested, you can check it out at: http://cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=654015&postdays=0&postorder=asc&&start=0 Anyways, so now the outcome is neither whimsical nor straight :) But I learnt a lot (hopefully) in the process. Baby Shower For Gumpaste Crib
Inspired by many on CC. My first time doing a cake in butter cream. Gumpaste crib and chest of drawers. Fondant baby ,rug ,lamp and dust bin. Special thanks to jennabell441 who was kind enough to share her crib pattern. Although I didn't use it, it was veryy generous of her! TFL

I made these cakes for my daughters 2nd birthday party. Both were chocolate cakes with ganache fillings. The credit goes to a number of people. The recipe I used was the one by cakepro (the amazing chocolate WASC) Thanks a lot! People loved it. Then there were a number of posts regarding using ganache instead of buttercream. I did that. A bigg thanks to boonenati for her gumpaste shoe template and instructions . Also reading a lot of other posts helped me with various small tips .
