Posting After A Long While My First 6 Tiered Cake With All Handmade Gumpaste Roses For The Topper And Bottom Most Tier The Bride Wanted St
Posting after a long while. My first 6 tiered cake with all handmade gumpaste roses for the topper and bottom most tier. The bride wanted stripes, damask, quilts, pearls and lottts of roses So we got together to think of a design which would incorporate everything without looking too busy and this is what we came up with :) I have used lustre dust with alcohol for the metallic sheen. Hope you like it :)

50Th Anniversary Cake
This was made for a couple celebrating their 50th birthday. The client's daughters sent me a picture for inspiration and we changed the colors and added the topper and stars. It took me much longer than normal to do this cake since I find it harder to decorate a square cake neatly and since this was to be kept in a diamond shape, I had to make sure all the corners are symmetrical and aligned. Overall I was happy with it and the clients loved it :) Sizes are 6,8,10 and 12/

Graduation Cake
A graduation cake to serve a 100 people. Cake tier sizes are 12,10 and 8. The cap is styrofoam. My first time doing black on white stenciling (scary!) English cake Lady's tutorial on facebook "Royal Bakery" helped me a lot..Also first time doing the flowers cascade too. I used a tutorial on youtube for roses and my first time that i was 'sort of' satisfied with them..I still hope to improve these much more..I have seen some GORGEOUS ones here! the bottom most tier represents the girl's degree in civil engineering...That tier is painted with black airbrush paint...

Topsy Turvy Car Themed Cake
This is for my friend's son's birthday which is today. This is my first topsy turvy with wedges and second topsy turvy overall (the first was a disaster).I only got 2 days to work on it since I was away on a vacation,so I am quite happy with the result.I have a bad habit of saving pictures on a folder on my computer instead on in favourites (its easier that way) so I don't know who to give credit to,but I saw a similar cake on CC (or was it flickr?)This is a 10 inch,8 inch and 6 inch cake with styrofoam wedges in between.TFL

Tiffany Inspired Birthday Cake
This was for some one's 40th birthday. it was okay when i made it but the next day before delivery i noticed the front panel of the shopping bag sagging a little and peeling away a little bit. Thankfully i was able to cover it up with a fondant ring. But any one has any idea why this happened? I used fondant panels to cover the bag. Maybe i should have added gumpaste in it? or maybe i should have let it dry a little bit before applying? TFL
