I have a part time cake decorating business and this year I decided to make my own birthday cake. The top tier is covered in fondant with buttercream scrolls, the bottom is buttercream with fondant stripes & buttercream scrolls. Borders & beads are fondant, bow & butterflies are 50/50 fondant/gumpaste.
Top tier is cake, the other 2 are styrofoam. All covered in fondant with fondant seashells and royal icing coral.
