Spider Cake
This cake was on request from one of my professors for a "Halloween party" we had in class. Lots of firsts went into this cake. Butter yellow cake stacked then carved into vaguely rotund shape. Iced in chocolate buttercream that had started as ganache. Covered in homemade chocolate fondant. Head and legs made of RKT and covered in fondant. Decorations in royal icing.

Halloween Cake
This cake was a lot of fun! It was made for a local church's fall festival cake walk. 8 in and 6 in tiers. Butter yellow cake dyed rainbow, iced in vanilla buttercream, covered in homemade vanilla fondant. Decorations made with gumpaste and royal icing. Bottom tier was inspired by cake found online.

Flower Cake
This cake was made for a mission trip fundraiser for a local church and was greatly inspired by Gefion's 85th birthday cake. This is my first time really decorating with royal icing and I love it! I have also never tried the Lambeth technique, so this was a fun trial cake. I think it turned out well! Chocolate Devil's Food cake covered in chocolate buttercream and fondant. All royal icing decorations, some painted with gold pearl dust/vanilla extract mixture.
