Gbi Badge
I made this for my husband for an office dinner. It was two sheet cakes, cut and carved, covered in fondant, and painted with diluted gel paste and luster dust. If I'd had an airbrush at the time the color might've come out more smoothly. The cake board was covered in tinted royal icing. TFL!

Lime Green And Zebra Stripe Sweet Sixteen!
A three-tier, lime green and zebra-striped cake for a girl's sweet 16 birthday party. Covered in fondant, filled with buttercream. The cakes are vanilla and chocolate, swirled so that when it is cut it will also look like zebra stripes. Hopefully I will get a pic of it cut and post it later.

Skateboard Cake Built On Real Skateboard Deck
This is a vanilla cake, vanilla icing, fondant covered. I built it on top of a real skateboard deck, which will be a gift to the birthday boy... got the idea from someone here on CC, not sure who though. I used 2 half-sheets, cut & carved, 2 layers. TFL!

3D Spongebob
This is a 3D Spongebob cake I made for a child's birthday... vanilla cake, fondant with fondant and buttercream accents. Arms are rolled fondant and legs are dowel rods covered in fondant. Thanks to other CCers for their inspiration for this cake, especially chilz822 and cre8ivemary for being kind enough for their PM'd advice.

Go Generals!
I made this cake to take to my son's high school track banquet. It's caramel cake (Macsmom's recipe) with BC frosting, covered with MMF. Logo is color flow, stars are molded and tinted candy melts. It's the first time I've ever used color flow, and I'm thrilled! I bet I'll be using it more often now.

Plant Cell
This was a science project that I helped my son with in 8th grade. It's a plant cell complete with its innards ;) We used bubble tape and Nerds candy for the golgi bodies, Tic-Tacs, oval-shaped cookies, and gummi worms. This was a lot of fun! My son came up with the ideas for decorating it.

Ugly Brown :)
Probably the ugliest cake I've done so far! Was meant to be a beautiful dark chocolate brown, but that batch of chocolate fondant bit the dust. Next batch, I tried regular fondant but tinted it brown. Now I know why you're supposed to start with chocolate fondant to get that nice dark color. Mine ended up looking more like,,, well, you know. Fortunately, people at work thought it looked like peanut butter:) Better than what I thought. Oh well, lesson learned. At least the roses were okay.

Ahnyka's Carousel
This was for my niece's 3rd birthday. She's a very girly-girl, and loves horses and the color pink. I decided to do a carousel cake for her. Chocolate and yellow cakes, filled with cookies and cream, iced with BC, covered with fondant. Used separator plates and pillars, carousel horses are candy melts painted into a candy mold. Lollipop sticks made perfect anchors!

Eddie And The Union Jack
This cake was for a gentleman from England who trains and handles cadaver dogs. He was back in the US recently to help with a case my husband is working on. The dog is fondant, and is modelled after his English springer spaniel. The roof on the dog house is fondant... the wood grain was done using a rubber stamp on tan fondant, then painted brown gel color lightly over it.
