I made this for my Aunt's birthday and I wish the picture showed how neat this really was. I used piping gel and it looked just like a stained glass suncatcher I modeled it after.
This was made for twins for their first birthday. Boy and girl smash cakes. Personally I would have done a beige bears but my friend wanted white.
Made this to match the napkin and was so proud I got that icing to match exactly! Fruit I molded out of marzipan.
This was made to match the invitation although I forgot to put it in the pic.
My goddaughter's birthday cake. You know this was a while ago. Arthur is barely on TV anymore.
My niece's Little People cake. Her pic and the Little People were edible images.
My friend's son loved Spiderman that year.
Made this for a Christmas party my friend has every year. Poinsettia's are fondant. Dragee garland chain.
Made for my daughter's preschool class so I tried not to make them scary.
Pretty plain jack o lantern with fondant leaves painted with luster dust.
Halloween cake and cookies for work
My first attempt at a doll cake. I am a hobby baker. I work as a hairstylist. Never had an up doo as hard as doing it on a Barbie!
First attempt at color flow with royal icing and it came out pretty well. However I'm not happy I didn't center the last name well.
First attempt at a 3D cake. Notice what happens when you don't mix enough blue on the first try.
Cousin's birthday

My friend and her daughter were born the same day and her daughter loved Blue's Clues.
Wedding cake I made for my mom. She collects shell/beachy stuff so I bought her the Fitz and Floyd platter and I learned the hard way about buttercream melting in 100 degree heat and humidity in August. Had to make the cake twice. Chocolate marbleized shells and cornelli lace.
Made for a friend's second wedding so they wanted something a bit different than a tiered cake. They brought me the topper and we went from there.
Made for a friend's wedding. Groom's mentally handicapped sister helped me arrange the flowers around the bottom and was having everyone look at the cake she made. It was very funny- she was soo proud! I just said I was 'her' helper LOL.
Made for a friend throwing a bridal shower. One of my first cakes so the piping is a bit sad. Made the church out of gingerbread.
Friend was having a shower for two women she worked with.
Made for my friend's baby shower.
My cousin's baby shower. Tinkerbell theme so I used colors to match the invites. Would have done a more elaborate theme but I had newborn twins so I went with something easy for me.
Baby shower cake. Booties were icing covered marshmallows.
My cousin's cake when she graduated high school. Fondant diploma. Parts of the hat fondant, bottom cake.
