Giraffe Cake
This cake was for a 21st birthday girl who loves jungle animals, esp. giraffes! My DH constructed the base and structure for her and then I placed brownie cake and RKT on the body to fill it in. This was a fun cake...was just a little nervous transporting it 3 hours away! She got there safe and sound :) I also put on ears, a bow, and a tail once I got it to it's desitination...the only pic I have of that, the birthday girl is in it...so wasn't able to post it on here:(

Cinderella's Castle Cake
This cake was made for a Princess who turned one. I also had Jello to put around the bottom as water, wooden stairway covered in fondant coming down from the castle, and a little island for the tree but forgot them at home, which was almost 3 hours away. I was a little sad about that :(

Thomas' Sodor Island In The Fall
This is the cake I made for my 3 year old son for his birthday party. He LOVES, LOVES, LOVES Thomas the Train!! So, I decided to recreate Sodor Island in the fall seeing his birthday is in October. Both chocolate and strawberry flavored cakes, per my baby's request! Everything is edible with the exception of the train track, train, fence, and sticks to hold up the sign and candles. Thanks for looking!

Falling For Fall
This square cake was a chocolate pumpkin cake with pumpkin cream cheese filling. I used a 14", 12", 10", and an 8" pan to make the layers. It is covered with satin fondant, dragees placed all around, fondant rolled and cut out leaves on the cake and around it on the bottom, handmade gumpaste flowers (I made) up the side corner (stargazer lily's, orchids, roses), and real sunflowers on the top, per the brides request. The ribbon was real satin. I also covered the cake board with real satin. As a finishing touch, not noticeable in this picture, is gold dust that I brushed on using Grey Goose! Thanks for looking!

Fishing
This was a marble cake made for a man who turned 50 and is an avid fisherman. The cake was iced and decorated in buttercream. The fisherman and some accents were made of fondant. In and around the water are chocolate river rocks that appear to be real! The fish in the water is a sweedish fish. The fishing pole and wire were made by my DH with wood and wire. Other than that, it's all edible!

Pb Chocolate Mousse Cake
This was a PB Chocolate Mousse Cake with chocolate cake balls around it's perimeter. It was covered in ganache. I also drizzed dark, milk, and white chocolate over the top. On the bottom layer, which is hard to see in this picture, I crushed homemade sponge candy and put it on the ganache around the sides. On the top was a handmade rose from fondant. Finally, I broke up Reese's PB cups into fourths and placed them upside-down for color effect. TFL
