Buttercream Ruffles And Brooch Cake
this bride wanted as much done in buttercream as possible and it was fun figuring out the ruffles so they resembled their fondant version. The pearl banding was also cool- I found a fondant mold and just used that instead of baking with actual crunchy pearls. The brooches were ordered from Etsy.

Succulents And Birch Branches
The bride for this cake had very specific words to describe her cake... but no real specific ideas...avante garde, elegant, natural, "different, but not wierd..." So piecing some ideas we found online, we came up with this. I really enjoyed making this one! All IMBC. 4", 6", 8"8", 12" and 16"

Grey And Yellow Diamond Cake
This was made for a bridal show. 6", 2-8", 10", 2-12" Sugar Peonies with Rhinestones in the middle. Cricut Stencil pattern with overpiping. I've since done this one in "real" cake a on much smaller scale and it works just as planned, so I'm glad I wasn't too ambitious!!!!

Eastern Themed Wedding Table Cake
A planner asked me to make a display for their "eastern themed" table. I had to make the base only 8" and she wanted hexagon somewhere in there. So the 2 tier is real cake (too cheap to order dummies!), with the top egg shape is a styrofoam ball with modeling chocolate to make the point part. The bottom tier detailing was made with the cricut using Linda McClure's recipe, which is the best for the cricut.

Funky Wedding Cake
This one for some reason totally psyched me out when it was ordered, but I had so much fun doing it! I got to use my Mat for the first time and I'll never go back. Flavors are pistachio, butter pecan and pralines with cream cheese (they apparently like nuts!) Colors were definitely a unique choice, but they were so fun to do.
