A Nurse With A Purse
made for a retirement party, with the hat to look like the hat the retiree used to wear in the navy. Fondant icing and detailing, red velvet cake with cream cheese filling.
Made for my grandmother's 80th birthday. She loves to quilt, and everyone in the family has a beautiful quilt somewhere in the house from her. Buttercream icing, fondant details.
A takeoff on a baby cake I've done several times. The lady wanted the same cake but for a zoo theme and for a little boy.
This is a cupcake stand I had custom made, since here in Cheesehead land our weddings average 200-350 guests. It holds 150-325 cupcakes and room on top for a single round. Been using it all summer and had some great feedback!
This is by no means an original design- I think Pink Cake Box had something that also used Rhinestones trailing up the sides. 3 Tier Fondant with fondant squares airbrush with pearl.
My first attempt at a sphere cake. I already have this one in my pics, but this picture is WAY better quality. each sphere has 2 cakes inside, with a steel support structure in between. Strawberry coconut cake and Red velvet to feed 250ish.
Damask Cricut Cake
This was my first real attempt at a Cricut pattern. Its only a display, but I learned a lot doing it. 6,8,10 covered in Jennifer Dontz's fondant, with cricut florish3 from the Storybook cartridge.
She Sent Him Packin' Divorce Cake
This request- a divorce cake- was a new one to me. Sure was fun to make though!
Satelitte Cascade And Stacked Cake
4 Tier round stacked cake with 6 cascading satelite cakes. All in IMBC. The Rhinestones are not edible and were ordered from Dreamtime Creations. Thanks so much for looking!
Ivory Spherical Wedding Cake
This was one of 4 cakes for me this past weekend. 3T Spheres with dummy inserts. Used Stress Free System for the support. Thanks for Looking!
Double Stacked Cake
4 tiered cake with the center 2 8". The embroidery was a little messy, but was done with chocolate colored royal icing. I may try real chocolate next time!
Hex Wedding Cake
The couple were planning on getting married under the gazebo, unfortunately it rained! This is the first time doing a Hex cake, and then I had to cover it in fondant. All I can say is that I was lucky to have it covered in sugar as well!
Glock Gun Cake
Not the BEST work I've ever done, but I'm still ok with it. Chocolate cake with Ganache and chocolate fondant airbrushed black. The bottom and gun are cake, the top lid is styrofoam- didn't want to risk making it cake! This was for a wedding where the groom was a Glock nut.
Ganache Flip Flop Cake
For a customer who wanted a flip flop... but wanted a stout cake covered in ganache too...not sure I would want to walk on that tall of a flip flop, but she was happy!
Running Shoe Cake
Using the Cake decorator's Motif Bible (one of my favorite books ever) this is for an avid runner/girly girl.
Whimsical Queen For A Day
My First topsy turvy, for a "queen for a day" party, with advice from edna, thanks! Ganache under fondant- this one had to travel in the customer's car to Rockford- a 4 hour drive! Glad I wasn't in that car, but it made it there without a scratch!
Black And Cream, Off Center 3 Tier
3 tier off center to allow room for a fondant ribbon and some flowers for accent.
