Customer's son was turning 50 and she wanted a cake just like the one that she made him for his 1st birthday....a pink elephant cake. White cake was two 8" rounds. The head, legs and trunk were cut from one of the rounds. The ear was a cookie, the tail, eye and tusk were fondant and toe nails were gum drops. The first cake made years ago had a peanut in the elephant's trunk, this time the mother wanted a flag that said "Yea!! I made it to 50!!" Fun cake to make.

Two dinosaur cakes for two brothers. One cake was chocolate and one was marble. Both dinosaurs were sitting on top of quarter sheet cakes and the dinosaurs were carved from 9" round cakes.
These are vanilla and chocolate cupcakes that I leveled and then turned upside down. I then drizzled chocolate marshmallow icing over the top of each cupcake. The icing puddled at the bottom of the cake, thus the name "puddle cakes". I sprinkled powered sugar on them and next time I will top them off with a cherry on top.

The other picture shows 2 dozen of the total 7 dozen cupcakes that were also done for the party. Half of the 7 dozen were milk chocolate with white BC and the other half were yellow cupcakes with chocolate BC.

Customer's eight-year-old daughter drew a picture of the cake she wanted for her first communion. I was given the colors and what she wanted for decorations over the phone.
