this was my first at a belly cake. happy with the way it turned out! :) the couple call the baby peanut so i put a baby peanut on top. inside is chocolate and chocolate frosting. outside is all fondant.

this cake was for my best friends client. he loves oscar and slimey. it was going to be just oscar's head, but after seeing tokazodo's cake, i had to make the trash can too. oscar is rct and the can is just white cake and bc frosting.

this is a cake i made to thank school board members for all they do. it has a white layer and a chocolate layer and the ribbon is made of fondant.

Orchids

my second wedding cake i have made and first gum paste orchids. i know it doesn't look like it, but, the flowers are really the same color as the ribbon is. The lighting was weird there. the cake is just a white cake covered with fondant. (you can see the actual color of the flowers in the second pic)

Spongebob

so this was my first topsy turvy cake! about half an hour after i put it all together, though, my middle tier started to crack in half. thank goodness it was a cake just for the family! lol. lollipop sticks do wonders!! otherwise i was pretty happy with the way it turned out. spongebob and patrick are gumpaste, rocks and jelly fish are fondant, and top tier has grahm crackers on the frosting for sand.

so tinkerbell ended up being a little chubby, but otherwise i was pretty happy with the cake. flowers are made out of gelatin and i decided to try to make multicolored frosting. butterflies are made out of gumpaste.

this was for a graduation party. he had gotten a ford ranger and that is what they wanted the cake to look like. this is my first cake that i have made that is up off the board. fondant on outside, rct for the tires and the "ford" are decals from the auto store.
