Army Tank
this was a cake for my son's 6th birthday. He wanted a tank to go with the soldier theme that he picked. The cake is half white and half chocolate with bc icing covered all with fondant. I ran out of time so I did not do as much detail as I wanted to do, but he still loved it. Oh, i just used food coloring for the painting and the sand is grahm crackers. (i like how the grahm crackers look better than nilla wafers)

30Th Birthday
The number 3 is white cake and the 0 is chocolate. Both cakes have bc frosting and are covered with fondant. The stars are made of gum paste and are on wooden kabob sticks that I colored. Oh, and the ribbon is fondant with gum paste letters on it. This was the first time I used luster dust. I love the look it gives, but I need a little more practice with it.

Hawaiian
This cake is half white and half red velvet cake. All figures on the cake are made of gum paste and the volcano is rice crispie treats covered in chocolate. I made piping gel for the lava and water, and the sand is nilla wafers. The flamingos sank too far down in the red velvet cake, but other than that I was pretty happy with the way it turned out.
