Picasso Lily Wddding Cake
I had to deliver this cake 3.5 hours away and it didn't move an inch! Its ivory fondant dyed w/ wilton's Ivory color, picasso lilies (thanks Edna!), and purple ribbon. The final cake had wax flowers on it as well but I forgot to take a picture. The lilies were a breeze but as usual, I had a TERRIBLE time covering the 6inch cake. They are always so bumpy and collapse on me! I had to bake another one.

Funky Birthday Cake
This cake was for a little girl who herself and her mother couldn't eat refined sugar, dairy, soy, or gluten. I made the cake w/ Ghee, Coconut Oil and Honey. The fondant though did have sugar as there was no way to get around that. They figured they would just peel it off anyway. The cake itself is an 8inch and 6inch. The crooked 4 (not on purpose) was made out of Nicholas Lodge's Gumpaste. The writing on the bottom is from stickers.

Orange Green And Yellow Birthday Cake
This cake was for my very best friend's son's 3rd birthday. It was VERY last minute.. as she asked me to do it the day before the party.. which happened to be the same day I was doing 150 cupcakes for a wedding! I made the cupcake stand out of cardboard rounds and ribbon. The 3 is Nick Lodge's gumpaste and the rest is satin ice fondant.

Drama Major And Artists Graduation Cake
The colors look much better in person! 10-8-6. This one kept me up at night because I couldn't figure out how to incorporate blue, orange, and green (asked for colors) into a drama theme because I kept thinking RED RED RED! lol Update: EEEkk! My mom delivered it (2.5 hours away-- it was for her old boss's daughter's graduation..) and the top fell off! I use SPS so my mother must have driven like a wild woman :(

Lileigh's Butterfly Birthday Cake
6-9-12 Almond Cake w/ Vanilla Buttercream. The customer wanted lady bugs, flowers, and maybe some butterflies. I had been wanting to do a take on Alana Hodgson's cake for a while now.. and this finally was my chance! Her's is BEAUITFUL and I hope I did it justice! I loooove this cake. It is my largest cake to date, first time using SPS, and the first cake that I had zero 'hicups' along the way.

Baby Bootie Green And Blue Baby Shower
I feel like i've lost any skill I had in cake decorating lately.. but so be it.. lol. This was for one of my best friend's baby showers. She loves bright colors! The design matched the baby's bedding. I had issues with the fondant, the cake, and the booties.. lol, but it turned out semi-cute.

Whimsy Green Birthday Cake
This cake was a nightmare. The picture makes it look much better than what it actually tuned out to be -- I didn't even charge her. It was supposed to be topsy turvy and well it decided to collapse on me. I ended up having to use cakes that were for the weekend and carving them to the correct size. I didn't have time to wait for it to dethaw.. so I had to fill and frost and fondant the cake frozen. I used 3..yes 3 batches of fondant with no luck (tearing... elaphant skin). Of course.. since you shouldn't cover a frozen cake in fondant it decided to sweat and create bubbles and sag like no other (this was post picture..lol). By about 4am I was finally done and was able to get 1.5 hours sleep before I had to wake up at 530 and go to work. Remind me... why do I make cakes!?

Tiffany Blue Seashell Bridal Shower
6inch and 9inch WASC w/ raspberry cream cheese filling. She wanted a tiffany blue seashell cake much like my other one in my gallary.. 'cept blue. It doesn't look like Tiffany Blue in the photo... but it was SPOT ON when compared to my tiffany's boxes. I used wilton teal, sky blue, and a few dabs of kelly green

80's Style Boombox
The guy asked for a "80's style cake that uses your imagination.." well I ran with that idea and decided to give him a boombox! He was very surprised and said his wife would love it:) This is my first cake with NO BULGES! I'm finally learning something.. lol. The cake itself was french vanilla (I don't love that flavor I found out..) w/ vanilla buttercream

Beach Cake
The bottom layer is Double Chocolate Layer cake w/ Kahlua buttercream, and the top layer is WASC with rapberry cream cheese filling. Yum! The shells are white chocolate that I dusted with champagne, oyster, and pink luster dust. The fondant was colored with wilton's ivory. I'm getting a bit better at avoiding the 'bulge' but i can still see some :-/

Flower Garden
White Almond Sour Cream Cake w/ Raspberry Filling and Creme Bouquet Buttercream. This was my first time using a jelly style filling.. and boy oh boy was it a disaster. I made a really thick dam to keep it in.. but when I carved the cake down on the edges to make them a bit straighter.. I must have carved a bit too deep because jelly went everywhere. On top of that, it was SO wobbly that the icing was moving it all around. It ended up going from a four layer cake to a two layer cake.. (originally it was cake, raspberry filling, cake, buttercream, cake raspberry, cake)... but now it's just cake, raspberry, cake! Thank god it was a suprise..

Christmas Party Cake
8 inch round cake made with yellow wasc with milk chocolate filling and buttercream crumb coat. The bow is fondant with gumtex added to it, and the silver is fondant dyed light grey and sprayed with pearl luster dust. The stripes are a bit crooked and were cracking, but I love the design and am very very very proud of this cake! I greatly appreciate constructive criticism. :) Thanks for looking!

Birthday Cake For A Girl Turning 15!
8 inch double chocolate layer cake, and 6 inch lemon cake with lemon curd. I got this order off my last cake I did for my mom's 50th Birthday Party. It's my second PURCHASED cake so I am ecstatic! The entire thing is coated in butter cream (I've been doing thicker than a crumb coat since I can't seem to carve straight edges!), then covered in fondant with fondant and gumpaste accents.

My Mom's 50Th Birthday Party Cake
6 inch: lemon with lemon curd 8 inch: pumpkin spice with cream cheese icing 10 inch: chocolate with milk chocolate filling. I asked CC'ers SO many questions with this cake.. so thank you SO SO much for your help, tips, and ideas. It is for my Mother's 50th Birthday party I wanted to make sure it looked fantastic. Blue Whimsical Birthday Cake!
The top tier is WASC, the bottom tier is Pumpkin Spice Cake with Cream Cheese Icing. It was my first attempt at doing a loopy bow.. but it turned out better than expected after many setbacks! I used melted chocolate to attach the loops but would love an easier-to-hide way! Thanks for looking :)

Hearts Galore
This was for a Cardio Unit at my local hospital.Even though it was made in November, being a heart department, they wanted a Valentiens Day-Esque theme Tthe top layer is in the shape of a heart, the 2nd layer is a 6inch round, and the bottom layer is a 8inch. I wanted to add more decorations, but I found out I needed to do it on the same day that it needed to be delivered, so time constraints limited my options! Any critique and suggestions are welcomed and appreciated!
