A guy at my hubby's work gave me 1 days notice to make this cake. It was for all the birthday's in his family, adults, kids, boys, girls...this is what I came up with. I live in MI, out of curiosity, what would you charge for this??? Choc. cake w/cookies n cream filling. MMF, gumpaste accents.
Funfetti cake, with vanilla buttercream and MFF. This one tested my patience, the customer requested funfetti, even with beefing up the bater with vanilla pudding using the durable white cake recipie, I found this cake not strong enough. Oh well, critique welcom
This cake I donated for a relay for life fundraiser I went to. The bottom layer is white cake with vanilla bc and rasp. filling, the top layer is choc. cake with white choc. filling.
These were a last minute order from a lady at work, who just found out her daughter was 5 months prego. We live in MI, and the proud grandma will be driving these down to Gergia. NFSC with Antonia74 icing...I wish they could have been a little neater, I had a lot of cake and cookie orders and these were done late at night on the 3 rd night in a row if 3 hours of sleep. TFL
These were shower favors ordered by a lady I work with for her sister. I later indi. wrapped and tied with ribbon. They were choc. sugar cookies with RI. The brides colors were only white and raspberry, I so wanted to accent these with another color or silver or gold, I did spray them with pearl dust, but it is hard to see in the pic.
And she was very disappointed that this was "mine cake" (She is 2). This was for a co-workers grandbaby who is turning 4, I will be delivering it tom. I know when I was 4 I would have loved this cake. WASC with funfetti(first time using that recipe), chocolate bc filling, and MMF decorations. Cinderella is a doll, the real clothes and other shoe will also be given to the b-day girl. TFL.

This was a cake for a friends Grandpa, she sent me a pic of the hat he always wears and I did a choc. transfer. My first time, I like it but it could be better. It was fast to do, nice new technique. Choc. cake with choc. bc and rasp. filling, covered in ganache.
First of all I used mykidsarekillingme's cake as inspiration, Mine isn't as cute and I had a lot of issues with it, but it is okay overall. TFL

This was a rush job and I can tell...oh well, Choc. cake with Mint oreo bc filling, I think the bear would look better in brown, my 2 yr. old. daughter kept calling it a mouse. TFL

Choc. cake with Cookie and Cream filling. For a 25 yr. old. This cake traveled the farthest of any of mine so far, I am in Saginaw, MI and this cake went to Canada. Thanks to everyone on here that helped me so much.
One of my close friends wanted cookies instead of cake for her grandparents anniversary. She wanted the Cake Cookies for her grandparents and the initial hearts for the rest of the people. NFSC with Antonia's and buttercream accents.
This is the cake I did for my second session of this class. I had a lotta fun, but I wish I would have had more time to smooth the sides better. Besides that I am pretty happy with how it turned out...I could picture this with a teddy bear or a pair of baby shoes next to it. Darn Good Chocolate Cake with PB Cookie filling and vanilla buttercream. Ribbon roses are gumpaste and the rest if fondant. TFL Any helpful comments are welcome.
Darn good choc. cake(3 layers) and PB cookie (2 layers), vanilla buttercream and MFF. This cake tasted great and looked awsome when cut.
NFSC again, I like it but I love the choc. cutout recipe I have, but people are so scared to order anything different. I thought these turned out cute...I was so tired, I had 12 dozen to due and I only got 4.5 hours of sleep in 2 days. Oh well, lesson learned for next year.
I took these into work for a lady who had ordered them and got 3 more orders, I wasn't sure I like how these turned out, but they all liked them. NFSC, I had tried a different recipie first and it was awful...not for cutouts, I learned my lesson. Thanks for looking.
All buttercream, rkt pineapple covered in buttercream and candy melts for leaves. Spongebob and Patricks were marshmallow suckers that I found at tru and I took them off the sticks. This was another free one for an annual party we go to, I had so many orders that week that I felt this one got snubbed. I loved the pumpkin when it was just a pumpkin, I should have left it that way. I don't like the jackolantern part or the cat, which kinda looks like a bunny according to my hubby. Oh well, it tasted good, I tried the cookie layer thing. Chocolate cake with PB cookie and vanilla buttercream.
