Some Of 70 Bug Themed Cakepops For A Boy
Chocolate cake with Oreo Buttercream filling and Funfetti Cake with Vanilla Buttercream. I had a request for 70 Cakepops "Boy Bug Themed" for a 4 year old. I made 10 each of spiders, fireflies, bees, ladybugs, ants, butterflies, and catapillars. I have never handmolded them in anything other than a ball...these were extremely time consuming. But they loved them... :-)

For my daughters preschool...they asked for "Happy Birthday Baby Jesus" cupcakes...I was stumped for a while, but I saw something like these on CC thanks to all those who have done it before. Some were vanilla and some were chocolate, all with vanilla buttercream. Fondant details. Thanks for looking.

Congrats On Being Preggo Balls
These were for my hair dresser of 9 years. She is finally preggo after her second round of IVF. Placed on partial bedrest at 2 months along, I thought I would cheer her and her hubby up. I didn't have time to make a cake and crumb it and so on, so I took a package of golden oreos and crumbles them up. I mixed in vanilla buttercream and some Cinnabon Coffee Creamer...the result was awesome. The combination turned out outstanding if anyone is looking for a new one. Covered in white candy melts and different colored sprinkles then placed in mini cupcake wrapers. I boxed them up and tied it with a bow. Thanks for looking.

Tinkerbell Birthday Cake
This cake was for my youngest child who turned 5. She wanted just about every kind of cake so I just tried to combine some ideas. I just recently saw the rose swirl cakes on here and fell in love. I had never done it before and I was nervous about doing a tiered cake in it, but it worked out well I think. She loved it anyway. The cake was vanilla cake with hotfudge buttercream filling. Covered in buttercream with gumpaste details except tink, she was a scrapbooking sticker. I wasn't going to attempt her...I don't think I could get her face just right. We kept the sticker and put it in my daughters baby book. Thanks for looking.

Stacked Books, Present, Cap Graduation Cake
This was my first time doing books...I really liked how they turned out. Excuse my pic, our digital camera is broken, this was taken with a disposable. I used 50/50 gumpaste and fondant for books. The bottom 2 tiers were chocolate with raspberry bc, the present was white cake with vanilla bc, and the cap was spice cake with white chocolate ganache filling. I really liked it.

50Th Wedding Anniversary
10" and 6" White Cake with Lemon Cream Filling. MFF fondant, I used the diamond impression mat and then used the stitching tool over that on the sides. The swages are fondant painted with gold luster dust. The flowers are silk. The Fifty is chocolate that I piped and I sprinkled gold sprinkles right away so that they would dry together, best and fasted way to do numbers on top I think. Way nicer and faster than waiting for fondant or gumpaste to dry then painting that anda waiting for it to dry again.

Sandcastle Wedding Cake With Chocolate Shells
This cake was a PIA. Buttercream covered in Graham crumbs...mind you I have no air conditioning and it was 86 degrees out, so that was fun. Two more tiers were in the kitchen for them to serve as well. I was glad to get rid of this one and I know to charge more next time. Oh well, thanks for looking, criticism welcome. :-)

My Camera Quite Working, Used My 4 Year Olds Camera...
This is what I came up with for a request for a Camping/Square Dancing/Surprise 80th Birthday Cake for a guy. Half choc., half Banana cake. The trailer is rice crispies, the picnic table is a kit-kat, the flames are starburst, the dancers are gumpaste, and the cooler is fondant.
