Easter Egg On Stump
Had lots of fun doing this one! The "egg" is half of a cake baked in the sports ball pan then covered in MMF. I made the "cracked" part of the egg out of MMF as well. The "stump" is a 2-layer 8" round with a cookies and cream pudding mixed with whipped cream for the filling then iced in chocolate BC then covered in MMF. I created the "roots" and flared bottom by rolling out MMF into a sausage shape the forming around the bottom before covering the entire cake in MMF. Thanks for looking!

Girl On Couch
This was done for a little girl who wanted a figure modeled after one of her dolls. The cake is chocolate with boston cream filling and covered in MMF. All the cut outs are done with MMF that had some tylose (sp?) powder worked into it. The chair is made with rice crispies that I slapped some frosting on to fill in the holes then covered in MMF. To make the cake I used the "Cake Extender" recipe from this site...it works great!! Thanks for looking.

Nativity Teapot
This was made for a Ladies Christmas Tea at my church. The theme was "Nativi-Tea." I found a pic of a nativity silhouette that I liked then used it as a guide. The cake is covered in MMF, the cutouts for the silhouette are a combo of MMF and gumpaste...the cup, saucer and spoon are gumpaste. I'm posting a separate close-up of the silhouette on the teapot. Thanks for looking! P.S. If anyone has any ideas on how to do the spout and is willing to share...I would really REALLY love to hear!!!!

Veggie Tales Cake
I did this for my DD. It is a 2 layer 10" cake (I cheated and used boxed) covered in BC. The colors on top are tinted piping gel which I have never used before..not so sure I like it. The figures, signs and "curling ribbon" are MMF and gumpaste. "Popsicle sticks" are gumpaste and unfortunately wouldn't stand on their own to hold the signs, so I used gumpaste glue to stick them to real popsicle sticks. I tried to make it look like a kid wrote the signs in crayon. Thanks for looking!

Suvivor Cake
My husband's work did a "Survivor" themed team building event and this was the cake that I did. One layer of the cake was French Vanilla and the other a chocolate of some sort with a Boston cream filling between the layers then all covered in BC. The survivor logo is a combo of gumpaste and MMF. The torches and flames are gumpaste. The fence is pirouettes Thanks for looking.

Roxy Skateboard
This was done out of brownie. The Roxy logo, screws on top and the hex bolts w/ washers on the tires are made out of gum paste. The tires are donuts coved in MMF and the little girl is also MMF. The top of the brownie is sprinkled with oreo cookie that I ground really fine in a food processor then added a little silver luster dust to give it a tiny bit of sparkle. Thanks for looking!

Teapot Cake
Teapot is a white cake with raspberry filling and covered in MMF. I formed the pot by baking it in a small Pyrex bowl. I baked two then put the tops together. The top of the pot and knob are MMF. The teacup, plate, handles, flowers and spout are gum paste. If anyone has any ideas on how to form the spout better and attach it the the cake I am REALLY in need of ideas. The teacup is filled with brown M&M's. Thanks for looking!!
