Blob
This was my attempt at Bob the blob. The fondant was so heavy it was crushing the cake. I had cake boards every 2 layers (it was 6 layers plus a half bowl) and it still ended up almost half as tall as it started out. I brushed the fondant with piping gel mixed with a bit of water to get it that "blob" look. I used blue piping gel inside the mouth

Tribute To Elvis
Thanks to jylbug and everyone else for the inspiration! My aunt LOVES Elvis so I decided to do this for her birthday. She loved it so much didn't want to eat it and I swear she saved the fondant silhouette of Elvis from the top! I myself was very disappointed with my rendering of Graceland, but as long as she liked it...! Bottom tier was chocolate, middle was lemon, top was orange...buttercream frosting and fondant accents.
