This is a copied design with minor modifications. A friend wanted this cake for her granddaughter (who is addicted to texting, hence the cellphone). The orginal cakester is a lady named Sandra who posts on a picture hosting site. She is a fabulous cake artist. I took this picture before doweling and straightening the top tier.....so look at it a little crooked. I promised it was not delivered like that! LOL!

Gift box cake for my friend/co-worker.
Story behind this one....All year long my co-worker had the magazine cut-out of a cake she wanted for her 40th birthday posted on the corkboard. I told her that cake was too plain for her personality. She decided to let me choose her design for a birthday cake. So, I dressed up the cake she chose with a pink bow and ribbon on the board. However, I made another cake that I thought truly matched her personality. I uploaded it also (gift box). How could I not make the one she looked at for a year!
Cake for a 60th wedding anniversary. Pinecones are chocolate fondant. Greens, holly, and berries are fondant also.
Very disappointed with this one. Mixed fondant and gumpaste for the figure but it kept cracking and wrinkling for some reason. Also, when I woke up the next morning the white stars had traces of pink from the black icing bleeding through. Borrowed design.
