Frozen Birthday!
I made this cake for an old friend of mine whose little girl was turning 3! Anna and Elsa even made an appearance at the party so the cake had to be great! I made this inspired off of another picture of a cake she found. It was fun to create the blizzard of snowflakes even though my "3" topper melted in the sun before we used it. Ah well. The inside was even dyed for added magic! Thanks!

Novelle Turns 5!
My sweet little niece asked me for "lots of flowers and colors and My Little Pony" for her cake. She loved every picture I showed her, so I decided to make something extra special and something that I wanted to try anyway! This girly cake has all fondant flowers and I used a silicon onlay to make the yellow pattern on the bottom tier. Pinkie Pie is hand painted. The inside is a swirl of pink, purple, blue, and pink cake! I hope she loves it! Thanks so much! Inspiration from Corrie Cakes that I saw on a Sunday Sweet on cakewrecks.com

Thing 1 And Thing 2
I can't believe my twins are 2! When it came time to think of a theme, there was no question but that we would go with their favorite tv show and books--Cat in the Hat! I found inspiration from other cakes--specifically one that I am not sure where I saw--and was very happy with how things turned out! All hand drawn and colored with edible markers. Thanks for looking!

Florist Retirement
My grandmother decided after 37 years that it was time to close her flower shop and enjoy her retirement with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. I made this cake to celebrate all the flowers, color, and love that I learned about during my time working at the Newnan Florist. A tall (and heavy) 16x18 sheet cake with piped basket weave and fondant and buttercream flowers. Thanks so much for looking!

The Fours Is Strong
My son turned 4!! We had a big, fun, Star Wars birthday party! I was a little stumped as to what to do for this one. The topper is an oreo mold of the Millennium Falcon and the ships are cut with cookie cutters and then painted. I wish I could have done even more to it but my son loved it! Thanks for looking!

Elegant Shower
I have long loved ButtercreamDesigns' lovely cake that when I was asked to make a cake for my cousin's shower and given no design instructions, I thought this was the time to take on one of my favorites! I was so happy with how this came out! Thank you to ButtercreamDesigns for the inspiration and to you for looking!

Panda Birthday
Happy first birthday to my nephew, Theo!! He loves panda bears but I couldn't find a panda cake that really worked for us, so I tried my hand at fondant chevrons for the first time! I have more to learn, but Theo was excited to see the fondant "tanda!" He had a more cartoon panda smash cake with piped butter cream chevrons--much harder to make clean than fondant! Thanks for looking!

Ruffles And Bows!
So girly and pink! My best friend's little girl's second birthday cake! My friend wanted a cake that would be beautiful but reminiscent of Marie from Aristocats! I found this cake by didi5 and did my best to remake it! didi5's is better, but I still am proud of how this came out! Also, my first time with a garrett frill cutter! Thanks so much!!

* I made these cakes for my newborn twins on the day that they were dedicated to our church! Since I was a little busy (and tired) I used my favorite ruffle technique on the sides. It was a happy day for little Brent and Aria!

Dane Is Three!
My son wanted a Mickey party this year so I made these grand plans for a birthday cake for him! Then...I was put on bed rest while I carry my twins. So, this cake isn't what I originally planned and isn't perfect, but I promised my son a cake. I used my minutes out of bed every day to work on the cake a little bit at a time. I think the design was still cute and I made the Mickey and Minnie from my bed with a tray of all my tools. Happy Birthday to my sweet sweet little boy! Thank you to everyone on here for the great ideas and inspiration! Thanks for looking!
